ABOUT AU PAIR REGULATIONS IN FRANCE
- Schedules and working hours 25 hours maximum per week
- Light household chores agreed with the family
- Participation in family life

- Host families in France are considered employers and therefore have to register their au pair with the URSSAF and pay certain premiums. Calculate the amount of the premiums on the official website of the Service Public Français.
- Monthly payment: 320€.
- Private room and board
- One full day off per week
- Language course is assumed by the Au Pair, however, for those who are outside the EU it is not compulsory to take the course and you can find courses in private or public institutions.
- 12 paid vacation days, for 12 months of employment
- Duration of your experience maximum 24 months
- The Au Pair must be affiliated to the Securité social (French social security). In the first eight days, the host family must affiliate the Au Pair to the URSSAF, this is assumed by the family.
- It is recommended that the Au Pair has private insurance, which must also be covered by the family.

Requirements
Host family
- Have at least one minor child between the ages of 3 and 18 living at home.
- Have a single room for your Au Pair.
- Wanting to welcome a young foreign girl at home for a year so that she becomes part of the family, is treated with respect and cordiality so that there is a real cultural exchange.
- Your Au Pair will have enough free time to attend a language course.
- Have sufficient income to support your Au Pair during the stay.
