ABOUT AU PAIR REGULATIONS IN AUSTRIA
- Schedules and work 18 hours maximum per week
- Light household chores agreed with the family
- Participation in family life
- Common extracurricular activities
- Monthly payment: 551€.
- At the end of the year, the Au Pair receives 3 additional salaries, if she stays for less time, the pay is proportional.
- Private room and board
- Language course to be paid proportionally, i.e. 50% by the Au Pair and 50% by the family.
- 1 full day off per week
- 30 paid vacation days, for 12 months of employment
- Duration of your experience maximum 12 months
- The Austrian social insurance (ASVG) is assumed by the family, specifically covering accidents and injuries.
- The Au Pair must have health insurance, which must be privately contracted by the Au Pair.

- No criminal record
- Being a first time Au Pair in Austria

Requirements Host family
- Have at least one child under the age of 18 living at home.
- Have a single room for your Au Pair.
- Wanting to welcome a young foreign girl at home for a year so that she becomes part of the family, is treated with respect and cordiality so that there is a real cultural exchange.
- Your Au Pair will have enough free time to attend a language course.
- Have sufficient income to support your Au Pair during the stay.
