ABOUT AU PAIR REGULATIONS IN FINLAND
- Working hours and maximum 25 hours per week
- Light household chores agreed with the family

- Monthly payment: €280
- Au Pairs in Finland make a pension contribution of 24.2% calculated on the basis of salary, food and accommodation, this is divided into 5.55% for the Au Pair and 18.65% for the family, more information in Etera (https://www.ilmarinen.fi/en/employer/tyel-insurance/contract-employer-or-temporary-employer/household-as-employer/) important, regardless of this contribution the minimum payment to the Au Pair is €280.

- 1 full day off per week
- 15 days of paid vacation, for 12 months of work, there is no specific regulation, so it is recommended to agree between Au Pair and Host family.
- Duration of your experience maximum 12 months

Requirements Host family
- Have at least one child under the age of 18 living at home.
- Have a single room for your Au Pair.
- Wanting to welcome a young foreign girl at home for a year so that she becomes part of the family, is treated with respect and cordiality so that there is a real cultural exchange.
- Your Au Pair will have enough free time to attend a language course.
- Have sufficient income to support your Au Pair during the stay.
